I'm an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Union College in Schenectady, NY. I received my Ph.D. in Philosophy from Boston University in 2019. At present, my research focuses on Mary Shepherd, a nineteenth-century Scottish philosopher. I also have research interests in Hume and in the history of Latin American philosophy. 

I grew up in Cuba and immigrated to Canada in my teens. I've been living in the U.S. since 2012.
